#Wen: In 2002 the FFII closely monitored the situation concerning software
patent legislation in Brussels and continued to be a major source of
expertise for journalists and politicians.  Hartmut Pilch, Peter
Gerwinski, André Rebentisch and others attended major conferences on
behalf of FFII.  The FFII also greatly improved its internal
organisational structures and grew in terms of number of members from
a dozen to >100.
